Mouine Chaabani: “RSB aspires to put in a good performance against Zamalek”


The Tunisian coach of Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB), Mouine Chaabani, indicated that his team is ready for the first leg of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Cup final which will pit them against Zamalek on Sunday. Egypt, noting that his protégés aspire to sign a great performance which will honor the reputation of the club on the national and continental levels.

“We did not play for 20 days, but benefited from the last two matches that we played recently,” he said in a pre-match press conference, stressing that the technical staff of the club ‘Oriental has studied Zamalek’s style of play well.

“We are suffering from the absence of certain players, who we will be able to recover during the return match. We do not want to take any risks,” he conceded, noting that the return match in Cairo will be decisive in knowing the identity of the winner of this trophy.

The first leg of the CAF Cup final will be held on Sunday (8:00 p.m.) at the Berkane municipal stadium. The return is scheduled for the 19th at the Cairo stadium.
