Opera House in Algiers to host CHAN 2022 draw

The Opera House, a beautiful architectural building in Algeria’s capital is set to host the African Nations Championship (CHAN) Algeria 2022, final draw, said the Confederation of African Football in a press release published on Monday.

The draw will be conducted on Saturday, October 01, 2022, at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT), added the same source.

CAF further stated that 18 countries will participate in the event for the first time, an increase from 16 teams.

The participating countries are Algeria (host country), Morocco, Libya, Senegal, Mali, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Niger, Ghana, Cameroon, Congo, DR Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Angola, and Madagascar, according to the same source.
