Today, on Saturday 07, June 07, Al -Saidia Beach witnessed the incident of the attempt by three young Algerians to return to their homeland, after the failure of immigration attempt in Europe on Moroccan territory.
According to local sources, the three young men started from a rocky area near the maritime border band, with the intention of Algerian waters, after spending a period in Morocco during which they tried to migrate to Spain through the city of Fnideq, but the Moroccan authorities have stopped their attempts three times.
While trying to cross the sea to the Algerian coast via Saidia, a Moroccan savior swimmer followed them to find out about their identity, because they assured that they were Algerians who lost hope of reaching Europe and decided to return to their country of origin through the sea.
Moroccan elements of civil protection quickly intervened with a bicycle of water (jet ski) to eliminate the savior before reaching the marine border point, for fear of being shot by the Algerian border guards.
While the young men approached Algerian waters, one of the Algerian soldiers is his most famous weapon, thinking that it was a question of attempted the Moroccan part, before a Moroccan soldier intervened and informed his Algerian counterpart that young Algerian citizens wish to return to their country.
After confirming their identity, the Algerian forces informed the Coast Guard forces, which came to the site and were given to young men from the maritime border.
