Among the missing and dead… the toll from the first floods in Tata rises to 18 people

Four people have been killed, while fourteen others are still missing, following the very strong storms that occurred in the region and in neighboring areas, according to what the local authorities of the Tata region reported in a preliminary report.

The rising waters of many rivers and the occurrence of significant flooding in some reefs and valleys have led to the erosion of 8 houses at the “Wakrda” roundabout, Tamanart community, Aqa district.

The same source explained that all relevant services have been mobilized and all necessary human and logistical resources have been recruited in order to intervene immediately to deal with this exceptional situation, provide assistance to the population, break the isolation of the affected areas and restore connectivity networks in the region.
