On Tuesday in New York, Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, held separate talks with several of his counterparts on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Bourita met with the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also held talks with the Somali Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abshir Omar Jama. On the same occasion, Bourita met with his Swiss counterpart, Ignazio Cassis, and held discussions with the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wopke Hoekstra.
These meetings provided an opportunity to review bilateral cooperation relations in several areas and to explore ways to further enhance them. They also served as an occasion to discuss a number of issues of common interest at both the regional and international levels, and to coordinate positions within international bodies and organizations.
