HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
Casablanca witnessed, this Thursday evening, the closure of a number of shops and some private spaces, in order to avoid any potential damages related to the protest gatherings called for by the "Generation Z" movement.
According to what the "HIBAPRESS" website observed, a large sports hall in the Bernoussi area closed its doors abruptly, as a precautionary measure in anticipation of any acts of vandalism.
These circumstances come amidst escalating tension in several regions of the Kingdom, where the protests deviated from their peaceful course, turning into clashes and acts of violence.
A number of neighborhoods witnessed acts of sabotage and stone-throwing, while some shop owners were forced to close their doors early to avoid losses.
