HIBAPRESS – I. Al-Samlali
Journalist and media personality Bilal Mirimid expressed his views on the phenomenon of "influencers" on social media platforms, confirming that some of them lack vision and responsibility in dealing with young people.
Mirimid said that following the pages of influencers and their content is like standing in front of a void packed with meaningless words, where spelling errors and detached sentences abound, while their owners lack any real knowledge. He pointed out that the silence of this group is often better than speech that harms more than it benefits. He explained that these influencers appear in football matches, party gatherings, and ostentatious outings, and issue economic, medical, and artistic opinions for a financial consideration, considering that everything with them is contingent on the consideration, and that these appearances do not reflect a true understanding of the dynamics of youth. Mirimid continued: "A void cannot generate anything but a void, and wave riding without learning the ABCs of swimming cannot bear fruit," stressing that the illiterate influencer cannot guide or understand young people. He called on the authorities to monitor the bank accounts of influencers who achieve fantastic incomes without producing real value. Mirimid concluded that "influencers" and transgressing politicians should step aside and leave the field for the real youth to have their voice heard.
