As part of the Green Schools activities, the second phase of the third edition of the awareness program for the city of Casablanca will be launched on October 6, 2025, for the remaining 22 schools. This is within the framework of the continuity of this program aimed at instilling the values of cleanliness and environmental responsibility in young people.
This phase will also be distinguished by the integration of two charitable associations, which will also benefit from the program's activities, along with the concerned public primary educational institutions, in a step that aims to expand the base of beneficiaries and enhance the spirit of solidarity and openness to the various components of the social fabric in the city. Through this edition, the 48 participating primary schools and the two charitable associations will benefit from the installation of 812 containers dedicated to dual sorting (at a rate of 16 containers per institution), with the affixing of instructional boards on the proper practices for waste management, with the aim of highlighting the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the various facilities of the participating schools. The program includes a set of educational and awareness activities, most notably: • Workshops using a three-dimensional (3D) model that simulates the path of waste from the neighborhood to the controlled landfill; • Display of educational capsules "Learn with Nasouh" (SAGA) that provide awareness content related to the sanitation sector and the world of waste; • Interactive activities on the topics of sorting and sanitation professions; • An incentive rewards system that crowns students with "Certificates of Cleanliness Ambassadors", in addition to comic stories (BD) and crowns the participating schools with appreciation certificates. Through this program, the Casablanca municipality affirms its commitment to creating a sustainable environmental dynamic within educational institutions, contributing to building a generation aware of the importance of cleanliness, capable of adopting positive behaviors that preserve the aesthetics of the city, in line with the goals of the "Clean Casa" campaign to build a clean, smart, and sustainable city.
