The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced that it has completed the investigations initiated by its General Inspectorate regarding the deaths recorded in a public hospital in the city of Agadir. The report related to this case has been referred to the competent Public Prosecution.
The ministry stated in a statement that it was decided to provisionally suspend those involved until the ongoing judicial and administrative investigations are completed.
The ministry affirmed that it is closely following this file, in order to ensure the transparency of the procedure and to protect the rights of all parties.
The ministry also stressed the continuation of work to improve the quality of healthcare in various public hospitals, within the framework of the comprehensive reform project of the national health system, indicating that the public will be informed of the remaining details in due course.
