HIBAPRESS – El Jadida
The primary court in El Jadida postponed, on Tuesday, the consideration of the case of the young man who appeared in a press statement on a website, threatening to take revenge on police officers who intervened to disperse the "Generation Z" protests, until October 14th.
The person in question is being prosecuted on serious charges including "threatening to commit a felony, contributing to the organization of an unauthorized demonstration, multiple disobedience using a weapon, public incitement to commit misdemeanors, and incitement to demonstrate in the public street".
Before his arrest last Friday, the accused appeared in a video in which he apologized for what he had said, justifying his previous statement by saying that he was "in an unnatural state as a result of his excessive alcohol consumption".
It is noted that the accused is being held in custody, where the Public Prosecution has placed him in Sidi Moussa prison in El Jadida, pending his trial.
