Medical sources denied the rumors circulating in the past few hours about the death of artist Mustapha Solit, following the serious assault he was subjected to on Tuesday.
The same sources indicate that the aforementioned artist is still alive and is currently receiving the necessary medical care under the supervision of the specialized medical staff. The same sources stressed the need not to be swayed by rumors or to spread inaccurate news, as this has a negative impact on his family and close associates, calling on everyone to be responsible and not to circulate any information except after its issuance from the competent official authorities. The sources also appealed to citizens and the media to investigate the transmission of information, in respect of the feelings of his family and the sensitivity of the situation, confirming that all developments will be announced officially in due course. It is worth noting that immediately after learning that the artist "Solit" was subjected to a serious assault in the public street, the governor of Al Hoceima province, Hassan Zaitouni, issued urgent instructions to provide the necessary first aid and follow up on his health status immediately, while taking all measures to ensure the stability of his condition before ordering his transfer to the university hospital in Tangier to complete treatment.
