HIBAPRESS – A. Mahyawi
In a touching scene that reflects the harshness of life and the difficult social circumstances, an elderly man in his seventies lies on a bed of cardboard and plastic bags next to the mentioned mosque, where he spends his nights and days outdoors for several days, without shelter or support.
The elderly man, weakened by the years, lives a tragic situation that breaks hearts, amid the cold nights and weather fluctuations, in the complete absence of any support or care. Witnesses from the scene confirmed that this man suffers from a deteriorating health condition and spends his day in silence and pain, waiting for a compassionate hand to reach out to help him and save him from homelessness that threatens his life. This painful human situation calls for urgent intervention by the local authorities, charitable organizations, and those with compassionate hearts, in order to take care of the man and find a decent solution to his situation, whether by returning him to his family or transferring him to a social care institution that guarantees him the minimum of human dignity. It is a human cry from the streets of Taza, calling on everyone to act before this daily scene turns into a new tragedy added to the suffering of the vulnerable groups living on the margins of society.
