HIBAPRESS – Fez Office
The Hassan II University Hospital in Fez has been experiencing a state of administrative stagnation for over two weeks, following the end of the acting director's term without the Ministry of Health and Social Protection renewing her mandate or appointing a new director to manage this vital institution.
This situation has created a state of confusion within the hospital corridors, where many administrative departments have been disrupted, and some organizational decisions requiring the approval of the upper administration have been halted, at a time when the center needs effective leadership to cope with the pressure of daily health and logistical files. Professional sources confirmed that the continuation of this vacuum negatively affects the normal functioning of services, whether for medical and nursing staff or for patients who visit the hospital from different cities in the Fez-Meknes region. The Hassan II University Hospital is one of the largest health institutions nationwide, making the absence of an official administration at this sensitive stage a matter that requires urgent intervention from the Ministry of Health to ensure the continuity of the public facility and guarantee the quality of services provided to citizens.
