A forty-year-old family man died at the end of last week inside the intensive care unit at the Mohammed VI University Hospital due to complications from a rabid dog bite.
According to sources of the newspaper, the incident dates back to last week, after the deceased was returning to his home immediately after finishing work inside an oven in the new Al-Khader district in the Tasoultante commune, where a group of stray dogs surprised him on the public street, exposing him to serious bites from a rabid dog. The same sources confirmed that the deceased went to the emergency room of the Mohammed VI University Hospital to receive first aid and get an injection specifically for such cases, after the appearance of severe pain in the back and repeated nausea, but he lost his life after staying in the hospital for one day.
