The organizing committee of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Morocco announced that the ticket sales process for the tournament witnessed a large turnout since its launch last Tuesday, with 150,000 tickets sold until six o'clock this evening, out of 400,000 tickets offered in the first phase of sales.
The committee's statement clarified that this batch represents a third of the total tickets allocated for the tournament, and includes all matches of the next edition of the continental competition, totaling 52 matches. The same source added that the pre-sale period exclusively for "Visa" cardholders will end tomorrow, Friday, October 17th at 12:30 GMT, immediately after which the open sale phase will begin for the public through all approved payment methods. The committee also set two additional phases for the sale process; the second will start on October 25th and includes the second third of the tickets, while the third and final phase begins on November 25th, 2025. Regarding the "Yalla" application, the committee clarified that it has received 249,451 requests until six o'clock this evening, while the number of "FAN ID" cards issued reached 248,048 cards, of which 66,557 cards belong to foreign fans representing 132 countries. The committee confirmed that obtaining a fan card through the "Yalla" application is an essential condition for purchasing tickets, stressing that the only official website dedicated to selling them is the website of the African Football Confederation, warning against dealing with any other unapproved platforms or applications, considering them fraudulent.
