Moroccan cities experienced an exceptional night on Sunday, Monday, celebrating the crowning of the national team under 17 years old, with the World Cup title, in an unprecedented historical achievement.
Immediately after the final whistle, thousands of Moroccans took to the streets and major squares in different parts of the country, in an atmosphere filled with joy and pride, as the cities turned into open festivals that were filled with ululations and national chants, and the Moroccan flags fluttered high. The celebrations extended until late hours of the night, interspersed with car parades, folk songs, and fireworks, amid security reinforcements to ensure the smooth flow of the atmosphere. This crowning is a great sporting achievement added to the record of Moroccan football, and reflects the amount of work and training witnessed by the sector of age groups under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
