The Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, confirmed that the direct social support program is a strategic project implemented within a clear and transparent institutional and legal framework.
The Minister explained, in response to questions from parliamentarians during the oral question session in the House of Representatives today, Monday, that the percentage of rejected applications monthly within the framework of this program during 2025 does not exceed 1.3% of the total applications. The Minister added that the number of families benefiting from direct social support has currently reached 3.9 million families, compared to only 2.6 million families in January 2024, noting that this expansion reflects the government's commitment to expanding the beneficiary base and strengthening social justice.
