The city of Tetouan witnessed changes at the level of security leadership, after the appointment of Mr. Abdelaali Al-Malliss as the new head of the security zone, within the framework of the transitional movement carried out by the General Directorate of National Security at the national level.
Al-Malliss is considered one of the security cadres who has accumulated a long professional career, characterized by holding multiple tasks within the national security services, which enabled him to gain field experience and accurate knowledge of various security challenges. It is expected that this appointment will contribute to strengthening the field presence of the security services in the city, and increasing the effectiveness of field interventions, with a focus on combating crime and enhancing the sense of security among citizens. This step falls within the framework of the strategy pursued by the General Directorate of National Security, which aims to modernize security structures, and inject new competencies into centers of responsibility, in line with the rapid transformations witnessed by the national security arena.
