HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher
On Tuesday evening, elements of the traffic and circulation squad of the first security district of Gueliz in Marrakech launched a campaign against drivers of modified and illegal motorcycles.
According to HIBAPRESS sources, the campaign, which was supervised by the head of the urban authority in the first Gueliz district, resulted in the seizure of many motorcycles, due to their owners' failure to respect safety standards, whether it was a modification to the motorcycle engine, or violating traffic laws, or performing stunts.
This security campaign comes within the framework of the strategy pursued by the Marrakech security directorate, under the supervision of the security governor Mohamed Mchichou, to strengthen the monitoring of violations and impose road safety rules on this category of drivers in the city.
