HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and sympathy to the family of the late artist Abdelkader Metaa.
In this message, His Majesty said: "We have received with great sadness the news of the passing of the esteemed artist Abdelkader Metaa, may God accept him in his presence." His Majesty added: "On this painful occasion, we express our sincere condolences and our deepest sympathy to you, to all your family and relatives, and to the national art family, which has lost, with the departure of the blessed deceased, a creative figure from its first generation, who left, through a career of decades of giving and diligence, a great impact on the memory of the Moroccan theater, television and cinema, and in the conscience of his broad audience, who exchanged with him sincere affection and appreciation." The message also stated: "While we share your feelings in this loss that is inevitable, we ask Almighty God to envelop the deceased with His vast mercy and forgiveness, to grant him the spaciousness of Paradise, and to compensate you for his separation with beautiful patience and good consolation." "And give good tidings to the patient, who, when a calamity befalls them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.' Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided." God Almighty has spoken the truth.
