HIBAPRESS
The "Generation Z" movement returned to the Moroccan streets on Saturday evening, organizing protest gatherings in a number of major cities, as part of a series of actions aimed at expressing the demands of young people and citizens.
The protest gatherings began at six o'clock in the evening in several areas, including Rabat in front of the Parliament, Casablanca in the Hay Hassani district, Tangier in the Al-Mekkazeen market, Tetouan in addition to El Jadida, Tata, Safi, Meknes, Oujda, and Marrakech and other cities. Despite the return to the streets, it was noted that the turnout for the gatherings was limited compared to previous occasions. The protesters raised slogans demanding freedom, dignity, and social justice, and they also expressed their solidarity with the young people detained against the background of the previous protest gatherings, affirming their continuation in the peaceful struggle for the rights of young people.
