New developments in the jewelry theft case, the details of which we previously published, reveal that the victim of the operation is former French star Franck Ribéry, a Bayern Munich player.
The data confirms that the villa's private guard exploited the family's absence to steal diamond-encrusted jewelry, luxury watches, and sums of money in euros, hiding part of it in the villa's garden and the rest in his house in Marrakech, in an attempt to smuggle the stolen goods and sell them later. Thanks to the vigilance of the Royal Gendarmerie elements in the Tahnaout brigade, the guard was arrested after being confronted with the evidence, where he immediately confessed to carrying out the theft. All the stolen items were recovered, and the suspect was referred to investigation to complete the legal procedures. This operation comes to shed light again on the Moroccan security services' keenness to protect the property of public figures and pursue any threats to safety and security.
