The Organization of Health Professionals from the Rally Party affirmed that involving health professionals of Moroccan descent from around the world is a fundamental step in implementing the King's profound reform of the national health system, calling for the creation of an administrative structure within the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to mobilize Moroccan expertise abroad, allowing for the investment of their experience in health reform projects, especially in practice within territorial health groups.
This came during a communication meeting organized by the organization last Saturday, October 25, 2025, in France under the slogan: "Health Professionals of Moroccan Descent from Around the World: A Strategic Partner for the Radical Reform of the National Health System." The meeting aimed to enhance dialogue and consultation with Moroccan health professionals abroad, to unify visions, integrate efforts, and accelerate the implementation of health reform on the ground, in line with the High Royal Directives that emphasize the pivotal role of Moroccans worldwide in the national development path. Participants highlighted the significant role played by health professionals in Morocco, affirming their commitment to high professionalism and sincere national responsibility to ensure fair access and health services for citizens. They considered that this royal project represents a historic reform stage that began four years ago, which included a comprehensive restructuring of the sector, improving the conditions of professionals, developing training, qualifying regional health infrastructures and university hospitals, digitizing services, and expanding infrastructure, in addition to raising the sector's budget to 42 billion dirhams in 2026. The meeting concluded with important recommendations, most notably the establishment of an administrative structure within the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to mobilize the expertise of Moroccans worldwide in health reform projects, and adopting an action plan and innovative governmental mechanisms to enhance their effective integration into national health projects, stressing that the involvement of health professionals inside and outside the country is the true gateway to the success of health transformation and building a just, strong, and developed system, embodying the royal vision for a balanced and advanced social Morocco. The meeting concluded by emphasizing that commitment to the Royal Health Reform project requires comprehensive and field mobilization of health professionals inside and outside Morocco, and that their experiences are at the service of the nation to contribute effectively to building a developed, just, and innovative health system, reflecting the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which makes the human being the focus of development and health a title of dignity.
