HIBAPRESS – Chafiq Anouri
In a dangerous development, African media reports revealed that elements of the separatist "Polisario" front entered northern Mali in order to join the movements fighting against the African Legion affiliated with Russia.
The "Sahel Intelligence" website said that the Algerian military regime gave the green light to the separatist "Polisario" front to send fighters belonging to it in order to join the ranks of the separatists in northern Mali.
According to the website, the "Polisario" front sent armed groups to join the smuggling and terrorism networks in northern Mali, and to fight against the African Legion affiliated with Russia.
This comes at the same time as Algeria promotes rumors related to the possibility of Russia lifting the veto against the expected Security Council resolution regarding the Moroccan Sahara file, which will include an unprecedented development that will accelerate the resolution of the file.
The data related to sending armed groups to northern Mali to fight against the Russian forces confirms that the crisis between the Kremlin and El Mouradia continues, despite the attempt of the eastern neighbor's media to show the opposite.
Abdelmadjid Tebboune had previously criticized on more than one occasion the entry of Russian forces into the Sahel in order to help the countries of the region to confront terrorist and separatist organizations.
