This week, the Inspector General in charge of administrative and financial affairs at the Ministry of National Education, Al-Houssaine Quodad, continues a field tour that includes a number of educational institutions and various departments of the regional directorate in Al Hoceima, as part of an inspection mission aimed at evaluating the extent of compliance with administrative and financial standards. He is accompanied on this tour by a number of administrative staff from the directorate, including financial inspectors.
The tour, which the Inspector General attended on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the headquarters of the regional directorate, included surprise visits to several departments, including the Human Resources Department, the Examinations Department, the Finance Department, the Information System Department, and the Buildings and Equipment Department. These visits aim to directly review the workflow and assess the level of compliance with organizational and administrative standards in each department.
The tour also included a field inspection of boarding sections and newly built or rehabilitated educational institutions, especially in rural and remote areas, to ensure their compliance with the required technical and logistical conditions. Observations are recorded and a preliminary evaluation is prepared for each institution, in preparation for the preparation of a comprehensive report to be submitted to the central authorities to determine corrective or disciplinary measures when necessary.
The initial data showed the existence of a number of observations and imbalances in the management of some departments, especially in the areas of human resources, finance, and the follow-up of buildings. The results of the inspection are still being collected and analyzed, in preparation for the issuance of the final report, which will determine responsibilities and recommend the necessary measures to enhance the quality of administrative and financial management in the region, which contributes to improving the level of educational services.
