As part of the efforts of the management office of the Mouloudia Oujda football club to establish the principle of transparency and protect the reputation and interests of the prestigious club, the management office announced firm measures to confront the phenomenon of impersonating the club and exploiting its logo through social media platforms.
This move, revealed by Ms. Salima Farraji, the club's general secretary, in a post on her page, comes out of a keenness to ensure that accurate information reaches the public and fans from its official and reliable sources. The management office confirmed that a number of pages and accounts that exploit the club's name or logo or speak on its behalf without obtaining any official authorization or legal status entitling them to do so have been monitored. To cut off the path for those who mislead, the management office issued four key confirmations that were included in the post of the General Secretary Salima Farraji: – The only official pages of the club are those that are announced exclusively through the approved channels. – Legal adaptation (impersonation and forgery): Any person or entity that presents itself in the name of the club or publishes content without official permission is considered to be in a situation of impersonation and forgery, which constitutes a clear violation of the law. – Strict legal consequences: The management office will take all necessary legal measures against anyone proven to be involved in these actions, based on the Moroccan Penal Code, especially the chapters related to impersonation (381 and 382) and forgery and its use (354 and following). – Cancellation of the effect of unofficial announcements: Any announcement or publication that is not issued by the official channels of the club does not represent it in any way and is not considered. In conclusion, the management office called on the fans and lovers of Mouloudia Oujda to exercise caution and emphasized the need not to interact with any unofficial page or account, and to rely only on the platforms approved by the club's management to ensure that they obtain accurate and responsible information.
