The Royal Moroccan Football Federation, on behalf of the national football family, expressed its sincere congratulations and the highest expressions of pride and honor to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, on the occasion of the adoption by the United Nations Security Council, on Friday, October 31, 2025, of a new UN resolution that consolidates the international community's support for the autonomy initiative under Moroccan sovereignty.
The Federation praised in its statement this decision, which is considered a historic victory for wise Moroccan diplomacy and the sound royal vision, stressing that this UN achievement embodies the continuous international recognition of the justice of the Moroccan Sahara issue and the Kingdom's position as a regional and international actor that enjoys respect and appreciation. The components of the national football also expressed their deep pride in this great national event, renewing their firm loyalty and their constant devotion to the glorious Alawi throne, and confirming their firm determination to continue working hard to develop national football, in line with Morocco's ambitions in various fields, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory. The Federation concluded its statement by emphasizing that the football family, like the rest of the Moroccan people, recalls on this happy occasion the meanings of unity and loyalty to the homeland, highlighting that the Security Council's decision constitutes a new station in the path of consolidating the Moroccan nature of the Sahara and consolidating the Kingdom's international position.
