A number of Moroccans have demanded that the relevant international bodies award US President Donald Trump the Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition of his role in contributing to the resolution of a number of long-standing conflicts and international disputes, as well as his support for the Moroccan Sahara and ending an artificial conflict that lasted for more than fifty years.
Moroccans praised on social media platforms the efforts made by Trump to promote peace in the world, pointing to his role in international mediations that yielded tangible results. Many of them expressed their pride in what they considered "a real commitment to achieving peace and resolving long-standing conflicts," stressing that these efforts deserve recognition at both the regional and international levels.
Supporters of the American President point out that his efforts included the Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo conflict, where he focused on mediating to end a long conflict in eastern Congo, in addition to signing a peace declaration between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, and calming tensions between Egypt and Ethiopia over the Renaissance Dam. He also contributed to preventing the renewal of the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo, and his contribution to reducing the escalation of the war between Israel and Iran and stopping the Gaza war, and continuing his great efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian war.
In addition to these international mediations, Moroccans believe that Trump's support for the Moroccan Sahara was a decisive step towards ending an artificial conflict that lasted for decades, which reflects his commitment to providing practical solutions to conflicts and achieving peace globally.
It is clear from the sum of these efforts and mediations that Trump is a man of peace par excellence, as he has continuously sought to de-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes in a practical way, which reflects his vision for promoting stability and peace in various regions of the world.
