HIBAPRESS – A. Muhyawi
The El Hajeb region is witnessing a state of administrative and developmental stagnation, which has aroused the surprise of local public opinion, after the region had known a remarkable dynamic movement in various infrastructure projects and development initiatives during the period of supervision of the former governor, Zine El Abidine El Azhar.
The administration of Zine El Abidine El Azhar was distinguished by routine presence and close follow-up of projects, which gave the region great developmental momentum, and contributed to improving the infrastructure and enhancing local services. Today, his position remains vacant, which has negatively affected the progress of projects and the pace of development in the region, and raised questions about compensation plans and continuity in completing stalled projects. Observers indicate that the absence of administrative mobility at the regional level may affect local investments and limit the potential for developing the region, especially in light of major projects that need close follow-up and effective management. The most prominent question remains: What measures will the authorities take to ensure the continuation of the development dynamic in El Hajeb, and to compensate for the administrative vacuum left by the departure of the former governor?
