Within the framework of the Justice and Development Party's renewal of its organizational structures, following the ninth national conference of the party, the Marrakech-Safi regional conference and the provincial conference, the renewal of the local branches of the party continues.
After the local branches of Nakhil, Medina, Tamensourt, and Menara, the turn came to the Gueliz local branch, whose conference was held on the afternoon of Saturday, November 1, 2025, where Professor Abdul Wahab Razouki, a cadre in the Ministry of Justice, was elected local secretary. Also elected were Mr. Mohammed Ouaadid as his deputy, working as a contractor, Ms. Raja Al-Mansouri, a lawyer in the Marrakech Bar Association, as a member, Ms. Hanan Belmous, an engineer in the Regional Health Administration, as a member, Ms. Fatima Zahra Taghous, an administrator in the Ministry of Health, as a member, Mr. Ali Balghiti, a retired employee, as a member, Mr. Hassan Babbawi, a retired professor, as a member, Mr. Mohammed Al-Shahibat, a professor in the Ministry of National Education and a student, as a member, and Professor Abdul Khaliq Anter, a professor in the Ministry of National Education, as a member. It is expected that the new office will form a new beginning for the party's branch in the region, by developing work programs that respond to the aspirations of the residents, and that establish the active presence of the Justice and Development Party in the local scene.
