HIBAPRESS
The Socialist Union of Popular Forces party praised the insightful and forward-looking vision of King Mohammed VI in managing the Moroccan Sahara file.
In a statement, the party valued "warmly and with high appreciation, the wise royal vision, the calm strength, and the proactive vision that has always distinguished the pioneering role of His Majesty the King in elevating national diplomacy to ranks of determination and resolve, which combined strength in position and sobriety in managing the complexities of the file and its international and regional intersections." The Socialist Union of Popular Forces party viewed the adoption of Security Council Resolution 2797 by the United Nations as "the beginning of a new opening during which the final resolution of Morocco's sovereignty over its Sahara was achieved," considering the UN resolution "the vindication of a historical, sovereign, and legitimate territorial right, for which the country has made great sacrifices and offered lessons in steadfastness, wisdom, and vigilance to achieve its honor." In this regard, the party expressed its joy and participation with "the Moroccan people, led by their King, the maker of unity and stability, and sharing with all its living forces, one of the deepest moments in national history, represented by the international recognition of autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty as a consensual solution to the fabricated conflict." It considered "the spontaneous waves of joy and collective manifestations of jubilation that swept the Kingdom from Tangier to El Guerguerat, whose enthusiasm and spontaneity are undeniable, the most sincere national interaction that consciously and responsibly captured the importance of the decisive existential achievement in the process of completing national unity."
