Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Businesses, Employment and Skills, said in a speech before the Social Sectors Committee in the House of Representatives that the process of disbursing vocational training grants was previously facing multiple obstacles due to problems in coordination between administrations.
The minister explained that some beneficiary lists of the grant were reviewed many times before being finally approved, which caused a delay in disbursing the grant to trainees, saying in a critical tone: "Some lists were reviewed three times". This statement reflects the size of the complexities that the ministry faced during its management of the grant file, especially with regard to auditing data and updating the lists to ensure transparency and credibility.
