The International Federation of Football (FIFA) broke the world record registered in the Guinness Book of Records, after gathering 69 different nationalities in one exhibition match hosted on Wednesday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamoura.
FIFA surpassed the previous record held since 2019 by the British association "Equal Playing Field", which brought together in one exhibition match two teams comprising 53 different nationalities.
The match, which was held in a covered stadium located in the Mohammed VI Football Complex, brought together employees of the International Federation of Football from different departments, especially from member federations, which oversee development and training programs.
The Mohammed VI Football Complex, which was built on a plot of land with an area of 29.3 hectares, has new-generation infrastructure and modern, sophisticated equipment that meets the standards of the International Federation of Football, placing it among the most important sports complexes in the world.
It has also hosted, since last July, the headquarters of the African Office of the International Federation of Football.
