In an atmosphere filled with patriotism and pride of belonging to the motherland, the Moroccan community in Turin, Italy, celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious Green March, the historic event that cemented the epic of national territorial unity and confirmed the cohesion between the Throne and the people. This joyful celebration was organized by the Moroccan-Italian Forum for Bilateral Relations, in partnership with the "My House" association, and witnessed the presence of the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Turin, Yassine Dadi, along with Italian officials and representatives of the Moroccan and Italian civil society, reflecting the depth of human and cultural ties between the two countries.
The ceremony included a diverse program that included artistic performances and national anthems glorifying the Green March, in addition to speeches on the occasion that expressed the pride of the community members in their belonging to Morocco and their strong connection to the issues of their homeland, especially the issue of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom. In a moving speech on the occasion, Consul General Yassine Dadi highlighted that the anniversary of the Green March remains a historic and immortal station that embodies the highest meanings of national unity and the close cohesion between the Throne and the people. He explained that the Moroccan community residing abroad continues to play a pivotal role in defending the first national cause, and in introducing Morocco as a country characterized by peace, coexistence, and openness, stressing the importance of consolidating these values in the hearts of future generations as a fundamental pillar in preserving national identity and enhancing the international radiance of the Kingdom. The organizers also praised the success of the event, which was an opportunity to celebrate a glorious history, and to recall the values of solidarity and faith in the homeland embodied by the Moroccan people during the Green March in 1975. The ceremony concluded in a festive atmosphere filled with pride and glory, where Moroccan flags were raised and national anthems were chanted, to renew the Moroccan community in Turin's pledge of allegiance to the homeland and to the glorious Alawi Throne.
