The security services in the city of Marrakech, the National Office of Food Safety (ONSSA), and the local authorities, in coordination with the competent Public Prosecution, managed this Monday morning to seize a quantity of rotten meat unfit for consumption, inside a car at the Al-Massira II district in the Menara district.
According to HIBAPRESS sources, the seized quantity of meat was on its way to a butcher shop and fast food outlet before it was seized on board a car that did not meet the conditions of transport and health safety.
The security elements of the 11th security district have opened an initial investigation into the incident to reveal the truth about the circumstances surrounding the seizure of the meat unfit for consumption, to determine responsibilities and to arrest those involved in this case.
