HIBAPRESS – Fikri Ouldali
A number of patients arriving at Ajdir Hospital in Al Hoceima province are experiencing dissatisfaction and discontent after waiting for days to obtain reports from radiological examinations (scanners) without any real response from the hospital administration or intervention from the relevant health authorities to solve the problem.
According to several citizens, patients who underwent a scanner examination are still waiting for days for the medical reports of their results to be prepared, which has caused delays in treatment appointments and medical interventions, and has even exposed some cases to serious health complications as a result of this unjustified delay.
Many observers have questioned the party responsible for this administrative failure, considering that what is happening at Ajdir Hospital reveals a weakness in the management of the health facility and poor coordination between the radiology department and the specialist doctors in charge of reading the radiological images.
Local sources confirmed that the absence of specialized staff or their delay in performing their duties is recurring from time to time, without any strict measures from the regional or regional health administration, which raises the question of accountability and oversight of vital facilities that directly affect the health of citizens.
In light of this situation, citizens and civil society activists are demanding that the Minister of Health urgently intervene to put an end to this suffering and ensure the normal flow of services at Ajdir Hospital, especially since the region is experiencing increasing pressure on health facilities in the absence of nearby alternatives.
The pressing question remains: how long will the ordinary citizen remain a victim of weak management and lack of responsibility within public health institutions?
