HIBAPRESS – Rabat
A session of the Justice, Legislation, Human Rights, and Freedoms Committee in the House of Representatives was held on Wednesday morning, in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Wahbi, to discuss the sub-budget project for the Ministry of Justice for the fiscal year 2026.
The session addressed a number of social and judicial issues of concern to citizens, including social support programs and their distribution mechanisms, in the context of promoting social justice and improving the lives of Moroccan families. During his intervention, Minister Wahbi pointed out that he had previously proposed that only women should benefit from social support, but the government implemented it for the head of the household. Wahbi's statement came in the context of his discussion about women benefiting from some support and solidarity funds, commenting on a question from a parliamentary deputy who confirmed the deprivation of a number of women from solidarity privileges due to direct social support.
