A homeless person died today, Thursday, after being struck by a powerful lightning bolt in the municipality of Inchaden, which is part of the Chtouka Ait Baha region. This occurred in conjunction with the rainfall and thunderstorms that the region has been experiencing in the past hours.
According to local sources, the victim, a homeless person who lived in difficult social circumstances, was caught by the lightning while trying to take shelter near an abandoned building, where he died immediately.
Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and local authorities arrived at the scene, while the body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue at the regional hospital of Al-Mukhtar Soussi in Biougra.
