Elements of the Anti-Gang Brigade in the Meknes Security Directorate, in coordination with the services of the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, managed, on Friday evening, to arrest three people aged between 18 and 26 years, on suspicion of their involvement in a case of beating and wounding using a white weapon.
The security intervention came after the spread of a video clip on social media showing two people assaulting a victim with a white weapon in the public street of the city of Meknes, while a woman was filming the incident.
Investigations resulted in the identification of all those involved, before they were all arrested.
The suspects were subjected to custody measures pending the disposal of the judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, to reveal the circumstances, circumstances, and backgrounds of this case.
