The Tadart community in the province of Jerrada witnessed the organization of a multi-specialty medical convoy on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious Independence Day, in a humanitarian initiative supervised by the Amal Space Association of Jerrada in partnership with the Charitable Committee of the Students Office of the Faculty of Dentistry at Mohammed V University in Rabat and the Students Office of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at Hassan II University in Casablanca, in addition to a number of partners and supporters.

This health station witnessed a wide participation of medical and nursing staff, where twenty-seven male and female doctors and twenty-three students from the faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry contributed to providing free treatment services for the benefit of the residents of the region. The medical team was able to conduct examinations, diagnoses and treatments for the benefit of more than six hundred and fifty beneficiaries in well-organized and comfortable organizational conditions.

This health initiative constituted an important outlet for the local population who find it difficult to access health services, as many of the beneficiaries expressed their great satisfaction and thanked the organizing authorities for what the convoy provided in terms of close medical care and quality in reception and guidance. This process contributed to enhancing health awareness and improving the care of a number of cases of illness that needed immediate intervention.

The success of this convoy came as a result of the cooperation of a group of institutions and bodies that provided important logistical and organizational support, including the Jerrada province, the head of the Social Work Department, the delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and the Tadart community. The Ambassadors of Good Association, Jerrada branch, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, the director and cadres of the Tadart community school, and the president and cadres of the Charitable Association, Dar Al-Talib, Tadart, also contributed to facilitating the conditions for receiving and organizing the beneficiaries.

The presence of the local authorities, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, civil protection and auxiliary forces contributed to ensuring the smooth running of the process and securing the population and volunteers, which gave a professional character to this convoy, which turned into an integrated health workshop and a space for volunteering and giving.

The Amal Space Association of Jerrada concluded this initiative by sending a message of appreciation to all the interveners, calling for the continuation of such partnerships because of their positive impact in serving the residents of rural areas and enhancing the values of solidarity and humanitarian work embodied by such purposeful health initiatives.
