The Administrative Court in Rabat ruled on Thursday, November 20, 2025, on one of the most prominent files related to local governance, issuing a ruling to dismiss the head of the municipality of Tlat Gharb and his second deputy, coupled with immediate enforcement, making the decision effective immediately.
The chapters of this file began on October 13th, the date of its registration and referral of the case to the competent body, before it was brought for deliberation on November 13th. After a week of study and scrutiny, the ruling was issued, which is expected to bring about fundamental changes within the municipal council.
Observers suggest that the decision will exacerbate the state of organizational confusion within the municipality of Tlat Gharb, especially with the void left by the dismissed officials in the composition of the office and the management of daily files.
In response, the supervisory authorities are preparing to implement the ruling through the necessary administrative and legal steps, especially after the announcement of the readiness of the decision copy for immediate implementation, which paves the way for a phase of rearranging the internal affairs of the municipality in the coming weeks.
