Police officers in the city of Laayoune arrested this morning, Saturday, November 22nd, a minor, 17 years old, suspected of involvement in a series of armed robberies, assault, and possession of a bladed weapon.
The minor was apprehended on Mohamed VI Street in possession of a large knife after attempting to rob a person at knifepoint, with the participation of an accomplice whose identity has been determined.
Investigations revealed that the suspects targeted sums of money and two mobile phones and also attempted to steal a motorcycle. It was also found that the minor is wanted nationally in a similar case.
The minor is now under supervision to conduct a judicial investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Appeal, while investigations continue to arrest his accomplice in these crimes.
