The environmental groups in Ifrane Province are witnessing a remarkable dynamism in their performance of tasks related to environmental management in recent times, within the framework of a new vision aimed at improving the quality of services and promoting sustainable development within the province.
The environmental groups are under the direct supervision of "Abdelrazzak Al-Hashimi," who also holds the position of a parliamentarian for the Ifrane district. This combination of responsibilities gives environmental work a stronger institutional dimension and enhances coordination between local policies and national trends in the field of the environment, which contributes to supporting development projects and improving the quality of services provided to the population. This system includes 10 groups, including two urban groups and eight rural groups. This spatial diversity imposes a managerial approach that focuses on spatial justice and adapting services to the specificities of each region. ARMA Company undertakes the implementation of various field environmental services for the benefit of the population of the province, including waste collection, street cleaning, maintenance of green spaces, and environmental quality control. This cooperation has contributed to improving the level of cleanliness and quality of life within the groups affiliated with the group, with a faster response to daily interventions, and includes a manager at the management level. The data confirms that the efforts made under the supervision of President Al-Hashimi, and the partnership with ARMA Company, have begun to bear fruit through a tangible improvement in the quality of environmental services. With the continuation of work according to a renewed vision, Ifrane Province is expected to turn into a regional model in environmental governance and the management of joint facilities.
