Hassan Merzak, the club’s official spokesman, revealed that the club’s debts exceed 9 billion centimes, including 3 billion centimes related to the players’ disputes with FIFA and that with the former coach and ex-captain of the Atlas Lions Abdesslam Ouadou.
More than 3 billion represent the debts of former president Mohamed Houar, and 3 others are linked to supplier debts.
Mouloudia d’Oujda is going through a serious financial crisis which had a negative impact on the team’s performance during the past season, as it was unable to stay in Botola Pro 1 and was thus relegated.
