The residents of the Kasbat Ben M'chich commune in the province of Berrechid are suffering from a deteriorated road situation that is directly affecting their daily lives.
Local sources revealed to "HIBAPRESS" that a number of tracks and douars (villages) are experiencing a "catastrophic" state in the absence of road signs and weak infrastructure.
The sources added that moving within the area has become a difficult task for families, in the absence of development projects capable of reducing the suffering of the residents.
According to the information received by the newspaper, the main road adjacent to the primary school in the area is one of the most prominent black spots, which raises increasing concerns among parents about the safety of students and road users.
A number of residents considered that the current situation reflects a "complete absence" of preparation and rehabilitation, to the point that some of them felt they were going back in time whenever they entered the commune.
