HIBAPRESS – Fes
In a move described as bold and carrying clear messages, the Ministry of Interior launched a partial transitional movement in recent days, the effect of which seemed deep in rearranging the positions of responsibility within a number of prefectures of the Kingdom. The movement was not just routine administrative transfers, but carried within it the ministry's desire to inject new life and enhance the effectiveness of the territorial administration by selecting experienced and field-experienced frameworks.
Multiple sources confirmed that most of the names included in the movement belong to the category of Pashas who have ascended through a long and well-defined professional path, reflecting the ministry's will to bet on competence and discipline.
Appointments open a new phase within the prefectures
Among the prominent appointments, the name of Jawad Maghnioui, Pasha of the city of Tetouan, stood out, who was assigned the task of General Secretary of the prefecture of Temara. A step considered by observers as a real reinforcement of the reform path within this prefecture, given the rigor that characterizes the man's performance and his strong field presence.
In contrast, the Taroudant province received a new general secretary, Bouchaib Essakali, coming from the prefecture of Ifrane. A task that comes after a short experience in Ifrane, during which criticism was directed at the weakness of communication with the population and the elected officials, which are elements that the Ministry of Interior attaches great importance to within the framework of the proximity approach. Identical sources confirmed that the management and administrative notes related to the previous period prompted the ministry to take firm measures, within an approach based on linking responsibility with accountability.
Ifrane welcomes a new general secretary to restore confidence
In parallel with Essakali's departure, Noureddine Bekkouki landed in Ifrane from Settat. The man is known for his seriousness and rigor in managing territorial files, which makes his appointment a clear message to local actors, especially in light of the region's need to strengthen communication channels and build a more effective relationship between the administration and the citizen.
Many count on Bekkouki to rearrange the internal house of the Ifrane prefecture, address the imbalances that appeared during the previous period, and restore confidence between the administration and the population of the region.
Other transfers restore balance to the territorial administration
The movement also included the appointment of Ismail Eddbagh, Pasha of Khenifra, as General Secretary of the prefecture of Ashtouka Ait Baha, in a step that reflects appreciation for his distinguished professional career. In the prefecture of Sidi Slimane, Abdelhadi Nakkar, former head of the Taourirt district, was appointed as the new general secretary.
These transfers, according to monitoring sources, reflect the ministry's trend towards accelerating the pace of modernizing the territorial administration and making it more effective and linked to the daily needs of citizens.
Messages of the movement… Rigor, governance, and renewal
Observers believe that this transitional movement, although it seems limited in terms of the number of positions, carries strong messages:
Consolidation of the principles of good governance
Linking responsibility to accountability
Injecting new blood into territorial decision-making centers
Enhancing proximity and communication with citizens
Data indicates that the ministry may undertake additional rounds of appointments in the future, within the framework of a larger reform workshop that aims to make the territorial administration more dynamic and responsive to development challenges.
