HIBAPRESS – Mohamed Daher
The red city of Marrakech has become a focal point for many international events with global influence, which are followed by intense media coverage that contributes to marketing the image of Morocco as an attractive tourist destination.
This comes thanks to the city's infrastructure, conference halls, hotels, and tourist facilities, without neglecting the role of the national security apparatus, in the person of the Marrakech security directorate, which plays an essential role in the success of various events, by providing sufficient logistical and human capabilities and setting security plans to secure each event separately. This strong security presence has received appreciation and praise from security delegations that participated in the "Interpol" conference, as well as artists participating in the Marrakech International Film Festival, who expressed their admiration for the security and tranquility that Marrakech possesses, which qualifies it in the future to attract many international conferences. All these achievements came thanks to the innovative security vision of the acting security director of Marrakech, Mohamed Amchichou, who succeeded in mobilizing and recruiting various security elements of different types (public security, judicial police, general intelligence) to be involved in a well-organized security plan that makes Marrakech a model to be emulated not only at the Moroccan level, but also Arab, African and international.
