The Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Wahbi, commented on the incident that took place in the Parliament dome yesterday evening, Monday, saying: "I apologize for what happened yesterday of clashes and I didn't want Moroccans to see that," referring to the verbal altercation that occurred between him and a deputy from the Justice and Development Party.
Minister Wahbi explained during a public session in the House of Representatives this morning, Tuesday, that he was sorry for what happened and that he did not want it to appear as a public conflict that negatively reflects on the image of the institution. He added: "I was subjected to repeated harassment and I got emotional and I apologize for that," stressing that such matters do not reflect the nature of daily discussions within Parliament, and that he always seeks to maintain mutual respect between members of the legislative institution.
