HIBAPRESS
Olive oil prices in various regions of the Kingdom have witnessed a significant decrease compared to last season, with current prices ranging between 55 and 70 dirhams per liter depending on the type and quality.
This decrease has been widely welcomed by Moroccans, especially after prices exceeded 100 dirhams per liter in some areas during the last season. Professionals attributed this decline mainly to the abundance of production this season, which led to a greater balance between supply and demand. With continued good production, prices are expected to fall further in the coming weeks, according to professional sources. This decrease comes in the context of a promising season for the olive sector in Morocco, which enhances the purchasing power of consumers and contributes to the stability of the local market for this essential product on the Moroccan table.
