The indoor hall in the Bensouda district of Fez witnessed a tragic incident on Wednesday night, the day before yesterday, after the death of a man in his fifties in a sudden manner while participating in a football match with a number of his friends.
According to local sources, the deceased felt a sudden health problem during the match, before collapsing on the floor of the hall, which prompted his companions to request urgent intervention from the ambulance teams. Civil Protection elements responded quickly, where the man was transported to the emergency department at Al-Ghassani Hospital, but the medical staff's attempts to revive him were not successful, as he passed away minutes after his arrival. This tragedy left a great shock among his friends and all those who were present in the hall, while the competent authorities are expected to begin an investigation to determine the circumstances of this painful accident and to ascertain the conditions of its occurrence.
